TheSunni scholar, Imam Malik ibn Anas, reports in his Muwatta: "Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that the muadhin came to Umar ibn Khattab to call him to the morning (fajr) prayer and found him sleeping, so he said, "Prayer is better than sleep," and Umar ordered him to put that in the adhan for morning prayer (fajr)."

Accordingto the Sunni school of thought, Imam Mahdi will be born a few years before the Day of the Judgement and then he will save the world. On the other hand, Shias believe that Imam Mahdi was born on 15th Shaban 255 A.H. in the city of Samarra-Iraq and that Imam Mahdi is here among us in the world.

UnlikeSunni Islam, however, the belief in Mahdi of the lineage of the prophet is central to Shia Islam, in general, and to Twelver Shia, in particular, where Mahdi is identified with the twelfth Imam. Distinctive to Shia is also the doctrine of occultation or the temporary absence of Mahdi.

TheTwelfth Imam will appear and the Prophet Jesus come with him and with his 313 companions will bring the world to justice. (With the rise of Imam all good time and blessings will be gifted to people on the earth. All nations will be learned how to love well with the guidance and help of twelfth Imam. When twelfth Imam comes, it's the time

Score 4.6/5 (71 votes) . The concept of the Mahdi is a central tenet of Shi'a theology, but many Sunni Muslims also believe in the coming of a Mahdi, or rightly guided one, at the end of time to spread justice and peace. He will also be called Muhammad and be a descendant of the Prophet in the line of his daughter Fatima (Ali's wife). Allahhas Mercy for you, you still believe in His tawhid and you have not fallen to what jews have fallen to when Isa (as) and Muhammad (saaws) came. Therefore, build your Iman and relationship with Allah first, if you have built the Iman and are ready to die for Allah, then you will be ready for Imam Mahdi inshAllah even if he is not shia
